Save the Chocolate!

So it has come down to this- butter, or no butter. Chocolate Manufacturers of America (CMA) in collaboration with the Grocery Manufacturers Association have petitioned the FDA to allow for modifications of certain descriptions that will allow a piece of chocolate to be void of cocoa butter.



This, by itself, may not seem like a grave injustice, but take a moment to consider the history of our food manufacturers, and what they have done to the food supply. Can we let them change every food we eat? Will the definition of chocolate ever stop changing?
